The  links below are from the AARP Livable Communities Solutions Forum – Lexington which was held on November 9, 2016, at the Lexington Senior Center.  This forum featured local Kentucky efforts aimed at making communities more livable.  Panelists focused on The State of Aging 2015 Report of the Institute for Aging as well as actions local officials and community organizations are taking to best support residents who want to remain in their homes and neighborhoods as they age.  Panelists also shared efforts being made to provide features and services such as affordable housing, transportation alternatives, and programs to enhance the quality of life for all ages.
