This group was established by BGADD in 2010 to foster and sustain community partnerships to improve the quality of life for military members and their families in the Bluegrass region. Covenant Committee members work to solicit local businesses and organizations for donations for deployed military members, seeking discounts on goods and services, promoting acceptance of TriCare insurance by health care providers and encouraging “adoption” of military families. The Covenant Committee is not intended to duplicate the roles of other organizations, but to offer support at the community level for the region’s military members and families. This group is administered by Community Planning.
