National Family Caregiver Support Program
Funded via the Older Americans Act and administered locally, this program supports family caregivers of older adults (60+) or those aged 55+ with Alzheimer’s/dementia, as well as grandparents or older relatives raising children under 18. Services include:
- Information & assistance
- Counseling (formal/informal)
- Local support groups
- Skills training
- Respite services
- Supplemental services (e.g., supplies)
