Homecare Program
State-funded supports that help eligible older adults remain safely at home, including assistance with daily living and household activities. Established in 1982, this statewide program supports frail elderly (60+) to live safely at home based on a personalized in‑home assessment and care plan. Services include:
- Personal and household care: bathing, laundry, meal prep, grocery shopping
- Home‑delivered meals and transportation
- Light housekeeping and minor home repairs
- Respite care for caregivers
Eligibility requires assistance with daily living activities; fees are income-based via sliding scale. Referrals handled through the ADRC.
