Dementia Care Specialist

Assists individuals living with dementia and their caregivers by linking them to programs, safety resources, and training. 

Led by one of Kentucky’s first Dementia Care Specialists, BGAAAIL assists individuals with dementia and their caregivers by offering: 

• Comprehensive assessment and case management 

• Information and referrals 

• Respite options (including overnight) 

• Educational resources and workshops (e.g., “Dealing with Dementia,” REACH) 

• Support groups and access to assistive technology.
