About the HSAC Committee

,This Committee serves as a planning body for local-level human service needs, meeting bi-monthly to review and comment on grant applications for Bluegrass region projects in the areas of income, health and nutrition assistance, housing, employment, youth, equal rights and education. The membership may also consider areas of special concern to other existing ADD committees and councils — such as transportation, energy, land use and child advocacy — when they affect human resources within the ADD. The Committee consists of one representative from each ADD county as well as other individuals and stakeholders interested in human service issues as at-large members. It is specifically encouraged to be a group with a wide range of interests and representation in order to meet all human service needs of ADD residents. The HSAC is directed by the Bluegrass region Workforce Investment Agency (WIA).
