The Central Kentucky County Regional Broadband Project is a collaboration between Bourbon, Clark, Fayette, Jessamine, Madison, Scott, and Woodford Counties. The purpose of the project is to identify a qualified public or private partner(s) to assess the current availability of broadband services, design and construct a network(s), and provide service to the underserved/unserved areas of each county.

 

For the purpose of this RFP, underserved and unserved areas are defined as access to broadband service as follows:

  • Underserved area – greater than 25/3 Mbps but less than 100/20 Mbps
  • Unserved area – less than or equal to 25/3 Mbps
